  • Every bit as good as the first one

I really looked forward to Embrey’s sequel to Tell Me You Want Me, and while the wait was painful, the book was every bit as good as the first. Gina and Sebastian are back together, although it’s never been easy for these two and it doesn’t look as if it every will be. The setting is not on a band tour this time, but primarily in England, at Sebastian’s mansion. The band’s cast of characters flow in an out, as do both Leon (Gina’s fabulous gay best friend), and Bridgette (her very realistic, loyal and down to earth best girl friend). The drama is almost continuous, but that’s what keeps you turning the pages, long after your eyes start to get heavy. I was especially intrigued by the authors’ notes at the end of the book. Embrey has a very interesting story to tell and one that would make a good book on its own. Will we see another Gina and Sebastian book? :Let’s hope so, but perhaps a story about one of the other band members or even Leon, would be just as good.

    Thanks for your feedback!
