    Provence Perfection!

What a fantastic journey to Provence this book was. Paul Shore recounted his time there with humour and affection, relating so well with the people he met and the things he did. This story was so well written you could almost feel the sun beating down. And what a lovely ending. It was a pleasure to read from the first page to the last. Well done, Paul Shore!

    Pleasant read!

Interesting and written with dry wit, this little book gives a window into the observations and involvement of a year spent in the South of France. He quietly worms his way into a regional game played by locals, good thing that he is Canadian and fluent in language if not dialect. Nice low key read which clearly conveys his love and respect for the people he met.
