    Wonderful Book!

It amazes me how Patrick DeWitt can paint extremely colourful scenes using so few words. This is one of my favourite read of 2015. If you liked The Sisters Brothers you will love Undermajordomo Minor.

    A new favourite.

A wonderfully funny, smart and beautifully written novel, one that I think the Brothers Grimm would very much enjoy. Undermajordomo Minor is a genuinely delightful book, in that it revels in its 'story-ness;' deWitt's latest is a yarn for adults, a fable without morals/talking animals, and it made me remember what it felt like to be a wide-eyed kid being told a new favourite story for the very first time. I really can't recommend this one enough.

    great read

If you likes brothers sisters you will like Undermajordomo minor I couldn't put it down. Very different as the characters are lovable they all have weird faults and it moves along at a good pace.

    Meh.

I absolutely loved the Sisters Brothers. This book, on the other hand, was quite disappointing.

    Under whelming

Why does an underwhelming plot line and flat characters still keep the pages turning? Such an oddity.
