    Exciting Series Finale!

"I'm talking about God's love, Pete. You gotta starting trusting in God's love for you. For Jess. Lean into it. Let it change you. Let it set you free." Pete Brooks is a risk taker, a rescuer, a real life hero, . . . . . . but he may have blown it when he walked away from the woman who asked him to wait. Now with her life on the line, he is expected to work alongside her once real, now fake fiance? Or is it once fake, now real fiance? Just what kind of hold does Felipe St. Augustine have over his Jess? Jess Tagg took a big risk coming back to Montana, even for a weekend celebration among friends. Her temporary life, away from the spoils of a scandalized New York socialite, had been blessedly peaceful. But, it's Pete. It has always been Pete. It will always be Pete, in spite of the rumors circling through the tabloids. But did she confuse him one too many times, and will she ever have the chance to make things right? At the moment, she is fighting for her life and praying to the Lord above that Pete will come to her rescue. Again. What a magnificent finish to a series that many will read over and over and over again.

Loved this series to the end!

Wait for Me is a strong conclusion to Susan May Warren’s Montana Rescue series. And it is a series that I don’t want to end. In this last book, reckless rescuer Pete gives all of himself to show Jess how deep is his love for her. It was wonderful seeing how much Pete has grown and matured since the first book in this series. Pete models a Christ-like love that doesn’t give up on us though we repeatedly turn away. What resonated most to me was Pete’s unwavering love and adoration of Jess through repeated ups and downs. Jess is trying to make up for betraying her family by being amiable as to her family’s expectations of her. Her guilt drives her to try to become the daughter that they desire, even though she really knows in heart who she loves and where she needs to be. This book is fraught with one suspenseful event after another. No one writes suspense like Susan May Warren. In fact the entire series full of nail biting moments. In the other books, PEAK rescue team members, Ben, Sam, Gage, Ian, and Ty chase tornadoes, are lost at sea, survive flash floods, snowboard rescue through the mountains, are kidnapped or being chased by bears or unknown attackers. This group grabs your heart and won’t let go. I highly recommend the entire series. Susan always writes suspenseful Christian heart lessons through the lens of grace. I will miss her people. I hope to see them again somewhere in her coming books. I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest review, the opinions are entirely my own.

    Worth the Wait!

Where do I possibly begin? I have waited for this story, not so patiently, for what feels like forever. The agony I was in waiting for the release, was worth every moment. I was glued to my kindle from the very first page and didn’t want to stop reading for anything. I was on a jaw dropping, heart fluttering, nail biting ride, and I didn’t want it to stop. Warren paints a picture where I feel like I am there fighting to survive right along with the characters. No one can write like she does, and I hope she never stops. She easily maintains her spot as my favorite author, and I don’t say that lightly. If you have read any of the Montana Rescue series you have no choice but to be as anxious to read Wait For Me as I was. I’m guessing if you are reading this review, that you haven’t. This story would be a great stand alone, but I completely recommend you get the entire series. If you are a book lover like me you won’t regret one second of it . The PEAK Rescue team is amazing and I loved getting to know all of them. I am actually really sad to see them go, knowing this is the last book in the series is bittersweet. I am so thankful I was along for the ride, and can easily see myself reading this series again someday soon. I wish there were more than five stars, I can’t recommend it more. This is a great book for anyone who is ready for an adventure. I had no way of imagining the out of nowhere twists and turns that took my breath away. My heart was racing and I couldn’t read fast enough. The timer on my kindle was also torture letting me know I only had so much time left before the book was over. Pete and Jess were worth the wait. I was blessed to receive a complimentary copy of this book from Revell and Netgalley and was in no way forced to post a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
