    Thanks for your feedback!

This is a great story about gender and being trans national. It's nice to read something straight from Toronto about the diversity and fallout from having so many cultures in this city. Both good and bad.

    Great

I don’t remember how I learned of this book or why I chose to read it, but I’m thrilled that I did. The characters’ stories are very compelling, and the novel has this incredible awareness and wisdom that’s immediate and modern. Dionne Brand’s descriptions are raw and fresh. I appreciated how she celebrates Toronto’s multi-facetedness. My only criticism is that the ending feels somewhat unlikely.
