  • Quick and beautiful read

What an intriguing and beautiful study of feminism, patriarchy, empowerment, religion, sisterhood, maternity, and freedom. There must be a lot of re-read value in this book; you’ll discover little tidbits of philosophy through every read through.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Fitting

A rich and revealing discussion of options, by turns philosophical and practical, among injured Mennonite women trying to regain their power and protect themselves and their children following a series of brutal sexual assaults. A beautiful and tender book.

  • A Moving Tale

So real and raw...the women's discussions are an allegory of male/female relationships from a feminine perspective. Worth the insites to be gained for these 'Me Too' times.

  • Zzzzzzzzz

Authr was able to take a fascinating subject and make it painfully slow and dull. Not to mention giving the book an abrupt and unsatisfying ending.

    Thanks for your feedback!
