    Bittersweet

Amazing story . Descriptive and well fleshed out characters and fight scenes. A wonderfully woven series with an amazing frenetic fight to the finish . I could go on but you must read for yourself

So good I’m sad it’s over

This was one of those rare book series where I’d actually love a follow up novel. I’ve been totally engrossed in the Banished Lands for about a month, and in that time I’ve loved seeing characters grow and develop. I usually think follow up novels cheapen the impact of the original series- but here I want to hear tales from Corban’s future, and want that bittersweet payoff when he someday crosses the bridge of swords. I really can’t recommend this series enough. This is one to stand with LOTR, Elric and Dragonlance as a must read fantasy series.

    The Faithful and the Fallen

I have just finished Wrath the 4th and final installment of this series. Gwynn has become the latest author in my collection of must read and reread authors. He is special in that his writing transported me into his world of truth and courage. Of right and wrong. Of choices good and bad. This work of art can easily stand with Donaldson, Tolkien, Kay, Sagara, Weber, Butcher, to name but a few. They all create a story that you can get lost in for hours and hours. Read this series! You won't regret it!

    Great

I've loved this series as much, or more, then Game of Thrones. The story lines, the characters(both human and non), the writing...all made this so sad to finish reading. Cannot wait fir what John comes up with, next.
