Really love this series and this author!

This has to be my favourite couple of this series so far! I've loved them all but there is just something so endearing about Curtis and Hope that had me putting off all work and turning the pages, until I had finished! This book gave me all the feels, sorrow for Curtis, he's really been through it in previous relationships, anger, Fulsom is not a good man, joy that Curtis and Hope are falling for each other and all will be saved, suspense what's going to happen to this poor group of people next, I laughed at the antics of some at Base Camp, at Raina, how one person can change the fate of so many others! It was just a joy to read, I want my own tiny house, SEal and to be a member of Base Camp! Looking forward to the next I really hope it comes out soon!!

Love this installment of the series

Book Six in Cora Seton's series is a comedic romantic romp that clearly defines whirlwind romance. The SEAL in question is Curtis Lloyd, already jilted at the altar by his high school girlfriend and losing out to another SEAL( see book 5) on intended bride # 2. But as chapter one begins, Curtis is getting ready to be wed. But then it doesn't happen... This leads billionaire Folsom to threaten base camp in the worst ultimatum ever. Hurry up and get married or the land is going to become a theme park! This leads Boone to threaten Curtis to marry the next gal he meets and he only had 5 days to do it! As fate would have it, two women needs white knight to get them to a wedding , best friends, Raina and Hope, find themselves seeking shelter at Base Camp during a winter. Although Raina is on her way to being a bride, her maid of honor is very single. Enter Curtis who is going to get those women to their destination no matter how much snow flies! Now I have adored all the previous 5 books in the series, but I am slightly miffed at how hurried this storyline was because even though I was never a Curtis fan, he showed promise in book 5 that made me eager to read his love story. But I missed the comradeship at base camp as Curtis and Hope travel with three fairly obnoxious players who continue to get in the way. Despite my minor irritation, I continue to read these stories at breakneck speed. Original Review published on Goodreads 16/12/18

    A good read

Thank you for this ARC. A group of retired Navy Seals decides to build an environmentally sustainable community. To gather the money necessary they accept to participate in a reality television show funded by an eccentric billionaire. The men have to marry, within a year and produce at least three children. To decide whose turn it is to be married, they draw straws. They share the land with a group of women who manage a Regency themed B&B. Curtis is the next one to be married. He has not been lucky in his research of a wife. He has been proposed by a woman with political ambitions and the story opens on their wedding day. But the bride’s secret girlfriend intervenes and proposes and the two of them marry. Curtis is relieved, he would prefer to marry for love, but now Base Camp is in dire straits, five days remain for him to get married and a blizzard is coming. Hope and Raina are best friends from kindergarten. They are driving to Bozeman for Raina’s wedding. While Hope his highly organized to the last detail and never parts with her planner, Raina is impulsive and, being a fan of the reality show, on a whim, decides to drive to Base Camp. Driving in the blizzard Raina drives the car in a ditch and they are rescued by Curtis and Anders. So now the girls are stuck at Base Camp. Curtis and Hope are attracted to each other. She likes the house Curtis build and loves the bison they raise. Her goal is to become a Yellowstone Ranger. But then Raina starts to panic since she is due to meet her fiancé grandparents, among other events, the next day and their car is out of commission. Curtis offers to drive them to Bozeman. The trip goes from bad to worse. During all the disadventures the bond between Curtis and Hope grows. I like Curtis character, he strong, honorable, resilient, funny. His struggles to find his happy ending in love are believable. Hope character seems immature to me, her motivations less believable. The story is catching and well written. I read it in one afternoon.
