    I love it!!

One Paris Summer is such a sweet romance with real-life issues tied in. The main character, Sophie Brooks, is very relatable so it’s so easy to see where she is coming from. It’s impossible for me to not love Sophie and wish the best for her! I love Denise’s writing and I feel like I am actually in Paris every time I read and re-read this book. I will admit this momma of four cries many times while reading because I can just feel Sophie’s emotions coming off the page. This is a fantastic book for readers of all ages!

    Such a sweet love story

I've never been to Paris but I've always wanted to go and Denise's ability to immerse you into the story makes you feel like you're there on top of the Eiffel Tower looking out over the city or simply sipping a cappuccino at a streetside café. So many emotions in this book. First love, heartache, sibling rivalry, family tension. Denise has a talent for connecting you to her characters. You grow to love them and you even love to hate some of them. You feel as though you've become a part of the story and it stays with you long after you've finished their story. It captured my heart as we follow Sophie Brooks while she lives the dream we've all had of going to Paris, meeting a boy and having a summer romance. While the circumstances that brought her were not exactly what she had hoped for and things seem to have a rough start, Sophie takes the advice of her best friend Jenna and looks for the positive side of being in Paris while taking steps out of her comfort zone. Maybe by the end of the summer she can even say that she lived a little with the help of a certain young French boy of course! You don't want miss out on this opportunity to introduce yourself to the writings of Denise Grover Swank! She can having you literally laughing out loud or crying that ugly cry with a turn of the page. Her technique crosses all genres so if YA ain't your thing she's got plenty to offer! Go check her out, you won't be disappointed! Yay! Super excited to get my hands on this! She's an amazing author and I haven't come across anything from her that I haven't truly loved and enjoyed!
