    love it

The Robyn Carter books have become one of my favorite series to follow. I always enjoy following along her and her team on the pursue of the murderer. In this book not only where there a lot of murders to solve, but Robyn is haunted by the memories of her fiance Davies. Somebody has sent her a picture of him, being very much alive, when he’s supposed to be dead. And this is not the only thing not adding up. After receiving flowers on Valentinsday, delivered to her work place, Robyn asks the one person she knows to be willing to help and being discreet - her cousin Ross. In the end the team solves the case (I had a blast to figure it out with them), Ross has some new about Davies (news that ease Robyn's anxiety) and there is a mystery man hiding in the bushes outside Robyn’s house. And me? I can’t wait for the next book to come out. Highly recommended series! I chose to read this book and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture!

    Okay

It was ok. I do not like British books. I find them confusing....and this one was very complicated hard to follow etc.,

    Loved it

I love the way there is a background story going on and cant wait for the next in the series. Detective Robyn Carter is a really likeable character. Its very easy reading and hard to put down

    A good read.

I find it enjoyable to follow characters through a series of novels. Therefore would recommend any reader to start the Robyn Carter series from #1. Hope the lingering Davies situation is resolved in the next book.

A well written, complex, serial killer drama

Firstly, many thanks to Carol Wyer, Netgalley and Bookoutre for the opportunity to preview this book. I wasn't immediately aware that this is one of a series and, although I'm looking forward to reading more by this author, this can easily be read as a stand alone thriller. It's a well written complex drama that involves serial killing, abuse and a missing (dead)? character. Yet, it's never depressing, rather I was hooked on the complexity of the story and characters and it held me until the end. A really good read!
