    Elephant Thief

Wow! I recently discovered Lia Patterson, and I bought all of her books. Elephant Thief was amazing; I did not want to stop reading once I started. I loved Arisha's fiery temper and determination to be her own person and Rhys was the perfect match for her. The author did a great job of building the love story between them. I loved watching them fall in love. Furthermore, I loved how Arisha showed Rhys that there are times you don't have to use weapons, in order to seek peaceful solutions. This story pulled on so many of my emotions. I felt Rhys' pain and hurt. His need to get justice for his family was palpable, but at the same time he was not better or harsh and therefore, he could look beyond the fact that Arisha was from another clan and see all the wonderful things she could add to his life and the joy she brought to his family and clan. This was a charming story, and for some reason, I felt sad once it ended. It felt like I was saying goodbye forever to some special friends. Ps. The cover of this book is amazing and is one of the main reasons why I purchased this book.
