    The Tea Planter's

I enjoyed this book more than any thing I've read for a long time. The story telling grippeded me immediately but it was the descriptions of the country, sights, sounds, smells and sensations, which held me spellbound. Can't wait to read her next novel.

    Thrilling...engrossing..and an unexpected ending

This book transports you back in time to a place so real...The emotional journey has so many unexpected turns, a lot like real life. Wonderfully written with a good pace.

    The Tea PIanter's Wife

A wonderfully evocative portrait of colonial Ceylon and the difficulties experienced by the protagonist and her relationships with her family within the community of local people.

    A great read

This book is great. I loved the setting in colonial Ceylon and the atmosphere of the time and place is wonderful. A terrific, accessible novel of conflicting loyalties and love. Just wonderful.
