    Fantastic Read!

Code Of Valor is another superbly crafted novel by Lynette Eason. It opens with a bang and keeps up an intriguing and compelling pace through out the entire book. The mystery kept me guessing especially when it seemed the folks after Emily were on two different sides since one of the would be assassins were taken out by another bad guy! I really wasn't sure how all the pieces fit and was excited to find out. And my “Dive Team Investigations” loving heart was THRILLED to see Gabe, Anissa, Ryan & Adam from Lynn Blackburn’s books make a cameo. That was awesome. This was an exciting read and I am eagerly waiting for Linc’s story this summer!! Can’t wait for it. I received this book from the publisher and author. I was not required to post a positive review, all thoughts are my own.

    God of honor

Great read. Lynne Eason is always good. There is enough tension and plot in all her books. I did have trouble keeping all the characters straight, usually that hasn't been an issue. Predictable relational romance ....know guess here. Is there really a family like this one?

    Incredible Suspense Novel

Code of Valor is the third book in Lynette Eason's Blue Justice series, but it can be read as as stand alone novel. Lynette Eason does not disappoint in her latest book. She wows her readers with a thrilling, action-filled romantic suspense novel that keeps you guessing! I was totally surprised on who the mastermind was in the this novel. Detective Brady St. John is at a family friend's lake cabin for some time away to relax when he finds himself rescuing financial crimes investigator Emily Chastain from an attacker who is trying to take her life. Their search for answers of who is trying to kill her leads them both into danger, and even a chance at romance for Brady and Emily. The book reminded a lot of the TV show Blue Bloods, which is one of my favorite shows. The St. John family is large family in which 5 of the 6 St. John siblings are involved in law enforcement, and their mother is the chief of police. I love the family dynamic between the six St. John siblings and how they still get together for family dinners despite their busy schedules. This novel deals with criminals who are involved in human trafficking, but does not get into specifics like the second book in the series did. This book mainly focuses on the financial aspect of it as the hero and heroine are investigating the transferring of large sums of money to various accounts as it relates to the storyline. Once again, it was evident that Lynette Eason had done impeccable research when writing this novel. Code of Valor focused on the themes of forgiveness and redemption. The St. John family's strong belief in God helped them face the difficult situations they encounter in their daily lives. During the difficult situations, some of the characters questioned why God let certain things happen, but they came to the realization that people have free will and make their own choices, whether it be good or bad. I also liked the fact that the heroine of the story was not a size 2 blonde. She had chin length brown hair and was a couple sizes bigger than the typical heroine described in books. Her self-esteem issues throughout the book are issues that many of the readers can relate to. I know readers will fall in love with the St. John family just like I did. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series when Linc St. John gets his own story! I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and Revell Publishing and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine. (After reading the copy from NetGalley, I enjoyed the book so much that I also purchased my own paperback copy!)

    So good!

I could not wait to read this book! I have fallen in love with the St. John family and couldn’t wait to hear Brady’s story. Eason has a way of drawing me in and making it impossible to do anything but keep reading to see what happens next. I absolutely loved Emily. She is so unique, and I could relate to her in a lot of ways. She is one of my favorite heroines ever, and I don’t say that lightly. This story drew me in from page one. Eason writes with the perfect ingredients; a spoonful of suspense, a pinch of romance, and a dash of faith. I enjoyed watching the characters grow and learn more about who they were created to be. Code of Valor follows Brady and Emily as they fight to stay one step ahead of an unknown enemy. Just when Brady thinks he might actually get to relax, trouble appears right outside of his door. Cabin in the woods or not, he is still on guard. When he sees something suspicious his training kicks in. Emily couldn’t have hand picked a better hero, not only is he handsome, but he becomes her protector when she needs it most. Swoon-worthy from the very beginning can she trust her feelings when it comes to Brady? I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Suspense. I found myself playing detective trying to figure out who could be chasing them. I can’t wait to see what Eason comes up with next, and am anxiously awaiting my next Blue Justice adventure. If you haven’t read any of this series you don’t need to read them to enjoy this one. That being said, you’ll be missing out on some amazing stories that includee Brady and his siblings. I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishers and was in no way forced to post a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
