    A Pink Tu Tu? Lol

I honestly didn't know how or where to begin my review. My emotions were just all over the place throughout this entire book which follows a group of friends from early childhood throughout school, college and adulthood. Although you may recognize some friends, this is really Molly and Carter's story. It's about lifelong friendships that turn into relationships.... about how the darkest of secrets can be hidden from the closest of friends.... and how the truth, right in front you can indeed set you free. I spent the entire day reading this. I just couldn't put it down. The story line flows between a multitude of issues... it pulls on my heartstrings as I feel the pain of their losses and fears. I felt their joy and laughter as well as the individual struggles they faced. I have to call this one a must read. This copy was gifted to me in return for my honest review.

It sucked me in so deep

I feel like I have a book hangover. It sucked me in so deep I'm having a tough time coming back. This book is dense with detail and emotion. It's a roller-coaster ride that had me laughing and crying and everything else in between. I adored Molly and Carter, especially seeing them as children and how their friendship grew into what it is. There are some very dark and violent themes in the book that will not sit comfortably with all readers but there's also a constant ribbon of hope that pulls everything forward. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

    Beautiful friends to lovers journey

Molly and Carter have been best friends forever. Molly truly captured Carter’s heart the first time she got him to play in the rain and jump in puddles. But Molly has secrets that she fears will change how Carter sees her so she builds walls to keep him as a best friend. Carter struggles with only having Molly as a best friend but she keeps pushing him into this zone so he pursues Daisy. When his world collapses, it’s his best friend Molly that saves him. As life moves them into adulthood, they remain friends and then Carter has an accident that puts, soon to be Doctor Molly, in a position to assist with his recovery. Is this the needed push they need to move out of the friend zone? Will Molly lower her walls and reveal her secrets to Carter? This story gave me the full drama, emotional roller coaster while showing me that love and goodness can prevail. Truly moving journey of growing up, facing your demons and finding your bliss.
