    A Great Legal Thriller!

"This is bigger than you think. And much more dangerous." Finding one of her co-workers murdered in his own apartment has ignited corporate litigator Mia Shaw's passion for justice. At first glance, it's an open and shut case but as new details come out of the shadows and into the light, Mia becomes worried that she may have rushed to judgement. When the best friend of the accused turns out to be a mutual acquaintance, Mia agrees to keep an open mind, for it seems that security expert Noah Ramirez is capable of changing her opinion about many things. "Breach of Trust" is a thrilling legal suspense with meticulous attention to details which continually shift in and out of importance, giving its readers no clear picture of who they can trust. I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher. The opinions stated are entirely my own.

    A great nail biter

This book three in the Atlanta Justice Series was full of twists and turns. Two incidents that seem totally unrelated, or are they, bring lawyer Mia Shaw into grief, then anger and a case her firm gives her that puts her life in danger. This can be read as a stand-alone but I highly recommend the first two also. Author and lawyer, Rachel Dylan, brings so much “to the table” with her expertise. There is lots of nail biting, heart thumping action to get the avid reader staying up late at night turning pages. And the best part is the surprise ending which I loved in the fact that I had the wrong culprit in mind, another plus for the author’s writing. Mia literally finds her close friend and colleague has been brutally murdered when she goes to his apartment. Noah is sure his friend and buddy whose being accused of the murder has been framed. They “lock horns” right at the start but the search for truth finds them both working together to unravel all the threads that have been so tangled together. But will they learn the truth before one or both of them have been killed? Tune in for the rest of the story! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher but was not required to write a review positive or otherwise.

    Great Series Conclusion!

Just three pages into this book I knew that Breach of Trust was going to be a book that would be hard to put down. Corporate lawyer Mia Shaw finds her colleague murdered in his apartment and she is determined to find who killed her friend. What follows is a story filled with twists and turns and a lot of deception. Mia herself becomes a target when she discovers the possibility of corporate espionage and realizes that her career may be at stake. As she searches for the truth she finds herself depending on security tech guru Noah Ramirez for both guidance and protection. Author Rachel Dylan has practiced law for over a decade and she is a litigator at a top legal firm. It is this experience and expertise that help make this book and this series so believable. Breach of Trust is the third book in the Atlantic Justice series and it is a great legal suspense novel. It is also wonderful Christian fiction and Dylan's personal beliefs are very evident in this story that has hope, faith, and forgiveness. She knows how to express the conflicts that are often experienced by both new converts and seasoned Christians. I especially enjoyed one conversation about faith between Mia and Noah. Mia's faith is new but Noah grew up as a preacher's kid. Mia confides that she was raised with no sense of of religion, faith, or even morals and Noah admits that, even though faith has long been a part of him, he still had to find his own way as an adult. 'God has an interesting way of tugging at our hearts and opening up our minds. Using the dark and painful challenges of life to speak into our hearts.' (p. 168) Dylan also uses this last book in the Atlanta Justice series to show how the characters from the previous books are doing. Sophie and Kate are now happy and content with Cooper and Landon and it becomes obvious that they are determined to help their friend Mia discover her own happiness and contentment. Watching Mia and Noah's personal relationship develop as they work to find the killer would be a perfect way to end this series and I found myself rooting for them. Breach of Trust is filled with adventure and intrigue and there are many touching moments as we say goodbye to these characters. They will be missed! I received a complimentary copy from Bethany House Publishers and a positive review was not required. These are my honest thoughts.
