After Shock is the second book in the Blood Never Lies duet. It is also a lead in for a brand new series which will tie together The Witching Pen series and the Eye of the Storm series. Both of which were amazing series and this story lived up to the expectations I had. The way Dianna has written this story you don’t need to have read either of the previous series to enjoy this but you might get a little extra out of it like I did if you do. Trust me you won’t be disappointed! After Shock follows Claire and Pete as they try to protect the most important thing in their lives...their daughter Jasmine. They go to great lengths to make sure she is safe. Unfortunately, threats arise that seem to be coming at them from all angles. Dianna always sucks me into her stories with every single word. I feel like I’m connected to her characters. Feeling what they feel. I had that again with this story. There was one scene in this story that had me on the edge of my seat, heart pounding, feet tapping...I just couldn’t read it fast enough to see what was going to happen. The world around me just slipped even further away and I was right there in that scene living it beside them. That is how you know you are reading a great story, and Dianna Hardy always delivers great reads!

    Thanks for your feedback!
