    American psycho

This book is based in the 1980s. And is set in wall street. Its about the social life and exploits of a psychopath Pat Bateman. Its highly comical. A cold darkly humoured book. Making fun of the upper class. Its also quite serious and thought provoking. I read the whole book not skipping sections which is rare for me. The books all about details. Pat constantly recites what people are wearing which becomes a bit tedious at times since most of us cant familiarise ourselfs with the designer clothing labels. But it reinforces what a top level player Pat Bateman is. Overall i enjoyed the book a bit ott about the killings which become a bit boring after a while. The film was good too.
