    Thanks for your feedback!

Brilliant debut, can't wait for the sequel

This was my first real venture into a sc-fi/alien invasion story and it did not disappoint. I didn't really know what I would be getting into with this book, but I really enjoyed the conversational style of writing, it made it a very approachable story for me. I was mostly expecting this to be a fun and quirky read and it definitely is! But it goes so much deeper than that. An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, more so than anything else, feels to me, like a really big message (warning?) about everything that can come with instant fame; particularly through social media and the internet, the whole addiction to public attention, about losing your identity, but also about the terrifying things that anybody with extremist views are capable of. What kind of freaked me out a little bit was how easy it is to imagine the events of this book really happening, that's some very clever story-telling. The seriously creepy ending of the book came as a complete shock to me - I'm so glad there's going to be a sequel, because that was one heck of a cliff hanger! P.S. I will never look at grape jam/jelly in the same way again. Nope. Thank you very much to Orion Publishing Group, Netgalley and Hank Green for a gifted ebook copy of An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.

    Worth the read!

An amazing debut! It really keeps you interested in the story and keeps you thinking about it even when you're not reading it... I found myself talking about this to other people - it truly is fascinating.

    An absolutely remarkable book

I am so proud of Hank Green. To write such a fresh, exciting and unpredictable book, it is quite a feat. I just love his style and the stiry is so well constructed. I hope he continues writing.
