    Surrounded by Misfits

While reading this book I had so many "me too" moments. Brant points out that there are a lot of people who feel left out or just don't seem to get church culture. I do go to a large church and I have some good friends, but I still felt like a bit of an outsider. After reading this book, my perspective changed and I started looking for other people that felt like I do. I was surprised to find that I've already made connections more people than I expected to. You may not be able to say "me too" to every chapter in this book, but I would be willing to bet that you know or will know someone who can say "me too" to those chapters. This book will help you, and it may help you welcome someone who needs to know they are also not alone.

One of the best books I have ever read!

Everyone should read this book! If you have never heard God's voice you are not alone and there is nothing wrong with you! Maybe you don't understand church culture and you try to fit in, but still don't get 'it'... This book is for you! Brant explains how GOD still has a place for YOU. This book will have you laughing one minute, saying "Yes! I am not alone!" the next, and even tearing up in some parts. This book offers hope, acceptance, honesty, and forgiveness. Brant leaves himself very vulnerable in this book and it helps for a person like me because I can then say "Me too!". It gave me hope because I truly thought I was the only one that didn't fit in. I felt like a weight was lifted off of me. Truly one of the best books I have ever read.

    Pull up a chair...

This book is like an honest conversation with an old friend, long into the night. Grab some toast and brew another pot of coffee, you need to hear this... You are not alone. You are not weird. You are dearly loved by God. Pull up a chair... Brant dipped the quill into his~k heart with this one. You will laugh. You will cry. You may do both at once. But, when you look up from this book, you will find yourself at a table full of misfitty friends.
