    Thanks for your feedback!

Sometimes made me laugh out loud

I had just read my first saga, The Story of Burnt Njal, or Life in Iceland in the 10th Century and fell in love with this type of history. Of course, I like Iceland a lot, so discovering their sagas helps me to see what life was like so long ago. I enjoyed the Comic Sagas very much. I am now going to read one of Halldor Laxness' books, probably start with "Independent People", then I'll read Iceland's Bell. He won the Pulitzer Prize for that one in 1955.
