    Fine

A very fast paced novel....an easy read. Given that many people were imprisoned in war camps in the South Pacific, this story is difficult to read at times. The unrelenting cruelty that was imposed on people in these camps by the Japanese is hard to understand. The courage of those imprisoned is unbelievable. The bond created by the women to support, protect & encourage each other pays honour to the strength of woman. Hope has great power. Miracles can happen.

    Amazing read

A little different to my usual easy reads but, I was was enthralled with this book, the author had in actually taking part in the horror of the Japanese internment camp, I will certainly be looking out for more from Erica Brown
