  • Loved!!!!!

My Review: Wow, wow, wow, what a jaw dropping read this was. I loved every minute of it. If you haven’t read this author yet I would highly recommend her. Her books are always a joy to read. I get so excited every time this author has a new book coming out. This book had it all. It had secrets, lies, drama and an unforgettable ending. What more can you ask for? Every character had something to hide. It was so fun seeing the characters unravel when the secrets finally start coming out little by little. I needed popcorn to go with the show. The only person I felt bad for was the little girl stuck in the middle of all the drama. She didn’t deserve it. I was praying by the end this little girl would get her happy ending. Speaking of the ending. It took me on a rollercoaster ride I never wanted to get off from. Loved it and love this author. I can’t wait for her next book. Thank you for such a wonderful book. Lastly, the characters, plot, and the ending of this book made this an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend this book and happily give it 4 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • Very Good

Every Little Lie by Lesley Sanderson has a pleasing premise and this lured me into picking up a copy. Anna has a daughter, Evie and is a good wife to Seb who she met in the park when Evie was two. Seb dotes on Evie as much as Anna, but when Anna starts receiving threatening calls, Seb believes he knows who is responsible. The tale is told primarily through Anna and Seb's narratives with the others devoted to another player in the story and the odd chapter from Evie. The author immediately throws in some suspense and I really enjoyed the plot, the succinct chapters, the fast pacing and all of the twists and turns. It is a book about lies, deceit and secrecy and there is a general air of tension, though it never reached a level where I was on the edge of my seat. I had my hunches as to the culprit's identity and although most of the characters were not particularly personable, this did not interfere with my appreciation of this delightful psychological thriller. Overall, a riveting novel that I'm delighted to recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from Bookouture via NetGalley and this review is my own unbiased opinion.

  • Good read

Every Little Lie by Lesley Sanderson is a psychological thriller. My Synopsis:   (No major reveals, but if concerned, skip to My Opinions) Anna found love for her and her daughter Evie in a wonderful man named Seb.  The three of them have been so happy. But when a woman calls saying that since Anna destroyed her life,   this woman plans to destroy hers, Anna is confused, as is Seb.  They decide it must have been a wrong number.  But the calls keep coming, and there is someone watching the house.  Then a woman tries to pick Evie up at school.  Things are getting out of hand. Anna thinks she knows who it is.  Seb thinks he knows who it is.  But the two of them have kept secrets from each other, and they may have to come clean. Then the unthinkable happens.  Evie is taken.  Their world falls apart. My Opinions:    Well, that was a good, fast read, with a somewhat predictable ending.  There was a twist about half way through, but it wasn't really a surprise. The book was about lies and secrets.  It was also about motherhood, and why certain people should not become parents. The story was told from different perspectives, and this is how we learned the full story. I was not overly impressed with the ending.  While parts dragged, the ending felt rushed, and I think a little out of character.  As well, I didn't really like any of the characters.  They were all a little warped.  If they weren't committing a crime, they were cheating, or abusive. Anyway, this was a typical domestic thriller, and an okay read.

  • Holy Moly What A Read!

“A missing daughter…A mother with nothing to lose…” With each book she releases, Lesley Sanderson just keeps getting better and better and Every Little Lies is another perfect example this! Holy moly, this is one edge of your seat, nail biting ride that had me strapped in my seat, unable to move. Right from the off, Sanderson sets the pace at high speed and wastes no time in getting things going, which I just love when this happens. It also has all of the wicked ingredients that makes a psychological thriller great, including secrets, lies and deception to just name a few, which all pulled me into its dark and glorious web. A well plotted and addictive read with a cast of memorable characters and a jaw dropping outcome, I highly recommend you adding this book to your TBR piles immediately!
