    As good as Nomad

I loved Nomad and so was excited to read of a sequel. Nomad certainly didn't leave me hanging (I hate it when books don't conclude properly) but there was plenty of potential in the characters, so I wanted to read more. I paid full price on the release of Exile and wasn't disappointed at all. No book is truly 'unputdownable' but Exile grabbed me from the start and made me want to keep reading. James Swallow manages to be fast-paced whilst efficiently providing every detail needed for a rich, immersive read. Exile has a great plot that keeps you guessing. (It's the characters that keep you guessing, not the author that manipulatively refuses to reveal what's going on.) Anyway, if you've read Nomad and liked it, read this! If you've not read Nomad yet, read that first - it's brilliant - and then you'll want to read this! I'm not usually a fan of books in a series (some authors really do churn them out) but I'm now really looking forward to Marc Dane book three.

    Great read

Fast paced adventure hits all the right spots. I have read both Nomad and Exile looking forward to the next book.

    An excellent read.

An engrossing novel; a must-read for fans of thrillers. I'd say it's similar to Bourne, but with a more relatable protagonist and a wonderfully fluid, unintrusive writing style. I do wish to learn more about this world.

    Exile

Not as good as nomad, more disjointed and not sure I like the ending setting me up for a sequel. Should have had a more complete ending
