  • Exciting and claustrophobic!

Ooh, Fallen Angel was exciting, claustrophobic, and it certainly gave me the chills. The setting was amazing and I found myself getting in the mood for Christmas as I read. I loved the ski resort location. Lately, I’ve really enjoyed reading thrillers set in snowy resorts and all I can say is, this book was brill. The relationship between Jenna and Dave kept sending the drama into overdrive and the resort guests, what a collection! I found myself captivated by these characters. Also, it’s so well written, I barely saw the words on the page. As for the crime element - hold onto your bobble hats. It’s icy, calculating and all the stuff nightmares are made of. Absolutely fantastic, absorbing and totally thrilling. If like me, you enjoy a frost filled, action packed read then this murder mystery is the perfect choice!

  • Ghoulishly thrilling!😳

🌨Stranded with a killer in a blizzard: mystery and thriller lovers, beware!👀 4.5🌟 stars: macabre and marvelous😍 Only a group of crime writers, their agents and publishers could have such sang froid when fellow conference participants at an isolated ski resort are getting eliminated one by one by someone who's really getting their kicks from inflicting fear and torture! A good, old Montana blizzard arrives to keep the killer and potential victims all confined up on the mountain with Sheriff Jenna Alton and part of her team watching the death tally climb. Too many conference attendees who are potential suspects and a warped murderer who even sets the medical examiner's teenage daughter in their sights. Lots of suspense and danger. Plus, Jenny's relationship with her number two Dave Kane sees some major ups and downs. An exciting page-turner plot for sure. I love this series about Sheriff Jenna and her team even though the killer in this book gets so gruesome with his planned murders that it was a bit too graphically cruel and violent for me (especially the final death). Medical Examiner Wolfe's daughter Julie's attitude and actions, with a decided lack of caution or concern for her own safety, drove me a little crazy. Typical teenager ignorance of her own mortality and resentment of the people trying to protect her: her every move made me roll my eyes in exasperation at Julie's stupidity! But that's not saying I did not enjoy the story: it's suspenseful stuff! Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

  • Heart stopping

This was an amazing book. The best so far and I have read all of DK Hoods series. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I generally read a couple chapters at a sitting but not this book I had to finish it in one sitting.

  • Fallen Angel , a Who Done-it right to the end. A1

D.K.Hood just gets better and better. There was so much going on, kept me in suspense to the end and then she had another end to the story that was just lovely.
