  • A Compelling read.

I was lucky and picked up a paperback copy of 'Good Samaritans' at 'Bloody Scotland'. I couldn't put it down it's dark and gripping from the first page. I love the way Will writes his unique in his writing and I'm glad his back. The book excited me from the very start and the characters flow from every page. I loved the way it scared me with an intensity I normally only get from films. Outstanding Mr Carver.

  • Best thriller in years!

This is the one book I keep thrusting on everyone as it's the best psychological thriller I've read in years. It's so dark and disturbing that you're sure you've missed something, there'll be some redemptive moment coming up but it gets worse/better. It's very funny in places, the kind of laughs you feel vaguely guilty for. It's also fast paced but doesn't scrimp on vivid descriptions 'unzipping a dark-blue vein that released a beautiful crimson worm'. There's noir and then there's Will Carver.
