    five stars read

Tray Buchanan is becoming my go-to writer if I’m in need of a read I know is going to be really good and captivating. The writing, the characters and the world building are amazing and I’m never disappointed by a book by her. And so, I also loved this story. The story about Estelle and how she became the new health guide, from the mistreated, abused child she once was. I felt with her, the terror when she starts getting threatening notes and pictures of a missing child, looking so much like her. slowly the story about Estelle unravels and it becomes clear, that she isn’t all that innocent and clean than she makes everybody believe. And I, even knowing all the things Estelle did, still like Estelle. She was a kid, deprived of love and stability, and did something, not thinking about the horrible consequences. I’m more angry with all the adults in this book. I couldn’t really find anyone not being shallow and selfish. “Her Last Breath” makes for a pretty good read this summer, so grab a copy and start reading. I chose to read this book and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. Thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books UK!

Its okay. The story line is readable but is a bit all over the place at times.
