  • A bit over the top, but nonetheless very enjoyable.

The novel is well written, with very strong, well developed characters. I sometimes found it difficult to relate to what was going on since the subject matter was heavily intertwined with American gun/gang culture, and I'm white British, so that made for intriguing reading at times - I would be interested to know how somebody more familiar with that kind of thing fared with this book. With the above in mind, I found the book engaging and exciting for the most part, but couldn't help but feel it was very the top in places, sometimes even far fetched.

Easy to read crime thrilla. I loved the ghetto slang. 😉 I will read the second one someday. I was entertained with this character .

  • IQ … loved it!

Isaiah is a very intelligent & capable young man. After losing his older brother in a car accident he has to forge a new life on his own. He’s made a few wrong choices in the past but now he’s trying to make up for his past mistakes & make a career out of solving interesting cases using his powers of induction. You’ll have to read the book to understand why it’s induction & not deduction!
