This is an excellent follow up to the first book. Very good action and story telling

    Excellent

Intriguing, brutal and satisfyingly complex, King of Thorns exceeds its predecessor like a good sequel should. Lawrence's world is like a sandbox of swords, sorcery and mysterious technology, and watching brash anti-hero Jorg Ancrath tear it apart is a thrilling experience. Characters are rich and the plot is twisted and clever. Suitable for anyone who likes Brent Weeks, George R. R. Martin, Richard K. Morgan or just good fantasy.

    King of Thorns

Essentially not a bad novel, a bit heavy in parts.
