  • A cracking romance.

Love in Numbers was a cracking enemies to lovers story. That was sweet, sexy, light, and easy to read. Yet, there was depth in both the characters, and the story; and I was completely captivated throughout. Thanks to Emerson and Connor, their romance and the setting. And I loved how the story developed and how it ended, and it genuinely left me wanting more. Would definitely recommend.

  • What a sexy, fun, and at times emotional read

😢 Stubborn souls. Sometimes you just need to ask for help What a sexy, fun, and at times emotional read Emerson was real. She tripped in heels. She didn't do mornings. She was smart, overly caring, the type of person you want at your back. When it came to business she was gifted with that second sense, the ability to analyze and execute Oh, and brownies with vanilla ice cream? They were a given in that world 😏 Connor was working on that life plan he had. He was to take over Finch Distribution, his goal was finally in reach. He envisioned the direction he wanted to take the business, he just needed his dad to step down and his uncle to step away. It should have happened over brownies with vanilla ice cream. Connor was driven, motivated yet still fair when it came to the people he worked with. At times I would say almost overly controlled in certain areas of his life. Looking back now I think it was a subconscious way to keep himself grounded. These two had chemistry from the moment they shared a seat. 😯 I enjoyed the lack of games between them when it came to their relationship. None of the back and forth. Connor was such a sweet romantic. It was the little things he did, he listened, picked up on the nuances. They fit The uncle was a bit of a sleaze Liv I'm not sure about - I'm thinking there is more to her story? Jack is more the creative one I do hope he gets a story Mr.Finch - I get it

  • Funny, sexy and so entertaining!

I have read every one of Scarlett Cole’s books and in fact read a few twice. I was anxiously awaiting the newest one, and it does not disappoint! I finished it in a day. Emerson Dyer, CEO of her family’s gin distillery, was feeling overwhelmed. Her Dad passed away suddenly and left her in charge of the business. Her brother Jake is the master distiller, and her sister Olivia is the event planner. They had weddings and events planned for months when their venue had construction problems and they had to close it down. Now they are needing money to keep them in business. Connor Finch, also works for his father’s company as V.P. of acquisitions. He plans to take over CEO when his dad retires in a few months. His uncle, also at Finch, is a thorn in Connor’s side, blocking every move he makes. Going to an award ceremony in San Francisco, he encounters a woman in his airplane seat. Already in a bad mood, he makes a scene and embarrasses the woman. When a compromise is worked out the flight continues. It was Emerson in that seat, and she decides that this man is “Mr. Grumpy.” Little did she know what was in store. An old feud between Connor’s dad and Emerson’s comes into play, but the attraction they feel for each other is serious. Everything seems to be working against them, especially when Emerson finds out who Connor works for. But, they actually talk to each other to work it out, which I find a wonderful thing! This is a sexy love story, with lots of corporate action, and I learned a lot about Gin! I can’t wait for the second in the series. Thank you Ms. Cole, so glad your back! Pat Fordyce
