    Unique and engrossing

This was a refreshing story, nothing like anything else I've read and completely engrossing. I loved the characters, the story and the descriptions of the mountain home of Laura. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I started reading but I knew it would be good because Cecelia Ahern is one of my favourite authors. The story starts out with Solomon finding Laura in the woods, they are instantly captivated by each other. I didn't like that Solomon had a girlfriend, Bo. Bo and Solomon and Rachel are makers of documentaries and Bo immediately decides that Laura's life needs to be filmed. From there, the story races to Laura becoming involved in a "talent search" kind of reality show. She becomes known as "Lyrebird". Poor Laura, going from being completely isolated to being a star in a very short time. How she handles this is a big part of the story. I really liked the little blurbs about the real Lyrebird and found it to be a fascinating bird, one I've never heard of but will definitely find more to read about.

    Special, precious and wonderful read

I found this book beautiful. There was an exquisitely unfolding description of each character and their relationships with each other as well as the competing story of reality that each reader can understand.

    Not the usual standard

I felt this book was a little disjointed, It didnt allow me to get to know the characters. Cecelia's books are usually unrealistic in a fairytale kind of way, but this was way off point. writting this reveiw is making me realise how dissapointing it was.

    LYREBIRD

Struggled to get through this book. Hard work and the main character was odd, creepy. Left me feeling annoyed.
