    Really good read

Kept you guessing throughout, a few real tearjerker moments, but overall a thread of hope throughout the book, and characters you could like

    Wonderful account.

As an adopted child who was born during the war and later , after a lengthy process finally found her mother , I know how difficult both the process and the emotions involved are . Nicola Scott has captured those so well and woven a wonderful book around them . I thoroughly recommend it

    Excellent

Interesting book with twists and turns, family values and archiac thinking and how it changes lives!!!! Truly thought part was based on fact but only 1950s the time it was written in made it seem so real. Loved it. Read it and find out for yourself
