    A light-heart romance

This is a light-hearted romance about a billionaire (Michael) with some bad memories about his ex-fiancée (Mindy) and realizes that he needs a date for a fundraiser event. He comes into contact with a rather naïve young woman (Sophia) via his dating website, after a confrontation with Mindy at the event she becomes jealous and later discloses that Sophia is a stripper and from here the retaliation and games begin. There is: quite a bit of drama, emotional issues, memories, deceit, sarcasm, some humor, manipulations, propositions, jealousy, disclosure, confrontations, apologies, grief, heartache, happiness & some steam. Although, I enjoyed reading the story, I think that the characters needed some more depth to their personalities.

    Nothing but Trouble

Nothing But Trouble is the first book in the Irresistible Billionaires series, and it features Michael, the first from a group of friends that I presume we will hear from. The blurb for this book sounded great, and I was really looking forward to reading it. Unfortunately for me, the reality fell a bit of a way from the expectation. I didn't connect with Michael and Sophia at all. After a promising start, it just seemed to fizzle out. They didn't really have any connection apart from physical, although they were both happy with that part. There were plenty of cliches going around - from the virgin stripper, to the ailing grandmother, to the crazy ex. The only good character in this was Regina, Michael's grandmother. The story itself was simple enough, but it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Although there were no editing or grammatical errors per se, there was still enough repetition of phrases to make this book feel longer than it was. I am sure there are lots of readers who will love this book and find it irresistible, but I'm afraid I'm not one of them. * A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

    Pretty woman-ish

I enjoyed this book, but felt a bit like I was reading a Pretty Woman spin off. Michael is the wealthy businessman that doesn't trust women (or kiss on the lips), even since his fiance left him at the alter. Sophia is the stripper barely making ends meet. Michael's matchmaking site connects them and both are pleased. From there, pretty much all the best elements of Pretty Woman are woven into the story. Despite this, I still thoroughly enjoyed the book because of the author's way to telling the story. If you enjoy the genre, put this on your TBR list. It's a perfect read for a quiet afternoon or at the beach.

The billionaire wasn't the only thing irresistible

Turns out the billionaire wasn't the only thing that was irresistible. Bostock turned a humorous tale of heartache into a deeply moving life lesson. Nothing but Trouble tackles a woman's quest for independence, even as her world is falling apart. Her redemption comes in the form of a hot billionaire with a chip on his shoulder and an emptiness in his heart. She teaches him how to hope, he reminds her how to dream and together they find the courage to try. Ashley Bostock reminds that the road less traveled could put us right where we were meant to be.
