A sweet and romantic story, full of Christmas spirit that made me root for the characters. I loved the engrossing and entertaining plot, the fleshed out cast of characters and the wonderful descriptions of places. It was a good read, recommended. Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

    Delightful

Isobel is a travel writer on vacation in London when a handsome man literally runs into her and knocks her over. They part ways without getting each other's names. She does a favor for her boss to interview a rising star Tom Bracken, only to discover he's the man from the day before who mowed her over! They quickly hit it off but she only has a week left until she flies home. They decide to make the most of it and enjoy her first Christmas in London. Well if this wasn't the cutest romcom I've read in a while. The whole thing reads like a movie you watch on a rainy day in December with the fire going while enjoying a cup of hot tea (or cocoa). It was sweet and cute and funny with characters that you enjoy reading about. Isobel and Tom's meet cute was perfect and their chemistry is off the charts adorable. I loved these two together and separately. Their banter is so simple and yet, it works so well. They hit it off instantly and the reader is whisked off on this delightful adventure where the two of them get to know each other and grow closer. It's probably the most PG (maybe PG-13) romcom I've read in a while but it worked with the tone of this story. The Christmas-y places they go throughout London are so well described that it makes you want to go as well. The author definitely had a clear vision of what she wanted and knows her genre. It's a shorter read so it will leave you wanting more. It's low on the angsty front, which is perfect for those looking for something light. This book is delightful from beginning to end

    A Delightful Read!

A lovely light Christmas read which will have you smiling and laughing all the way through whilst trying to work out what happens next. Isabel Bennett is innocently waiting for a bus when she finds herself catapulted into the road as a very attractive man flattens her - and not very gracefully either! As she gathers herself enough to catch her bus, she finds herself wishing she had the presence of mind to find out his name at the very least. When she bumps into him the next day - not literally this time - she decides that perhaps fate is on her side after all! With Christmas closing in, and her flight home getting closer, can these two get their act together? A delightful novel, and perfect to read at this time of year with all the festive touches which heighten your senses and get you in the mood for Christmas! Along with a hint of romance, there is plenty going on throughout this book and it is packed with sightseeing trips around London which, as a non-Londoner, I found very interesting! This is an easy novel to read, and I found myself racing through it with the many descriptions of festive fare tickling my taste buds. A very lovely read, well worth four stars.

Perfect for fans of holiday romances

BOOK REVIEW🎄 - Who doesn’t love a Holiday romance - and one set in the magical backdrop of London at Christmas? (sigh) The story starts 7 days out from Christmas when Isobel, fresh from Heathrow, is on her way to spend the week with a friend. While running for a bus she is literally knocked over by Tom. Before a conversation can get started, Isobel needs to run to catch her bus. However, the following day Isobel receives a work assignment to interview an actor, who is none other than Tom. This interview leads to a romantic, holiday-flavoured week - one that proves to be life-altering for Isobel. I highly recommend this read for fans of holiday romances. I found the book kept me engaged throughout, and enjoyed the author’s details of the food and festive decorations that were explored by the couple. Thank you to Netgalley and HQ Digital for the ARC of this book in exchange for the honest review provided here.
