    Only Daughter

I loved the book from beginning to end. Can’t wait to see what other books this author will come up with.

    Only Daughter

Psychological warfare at it's best. Gripping stuff. It's one of those books that you struggle to tear yourself away from.

    Regrets

Mother has lost her only daughter to suicide -or that is what the police say. Is it her own fault? Is it her husband's fault? Her boyfriend, or her friends, or is someone else guilty. Like the cover art but have decided these psychological reads are not to my liking. A copy of this book was provided by Bookouture via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Omg, Sarah A Denzil is my new favorite author!!! What didn’t I like about the Only Daughter!!! I absolutely loved the plot of this book. It’s about a strong willed mother who will not believe that her only daughter committed suicide. She is on a mission to find out what happened and to come to terms with her daughters death. This character was one of my favorites in this book. I also liked there were so many twists and surprises throughout the whole book. I would have never guessed the ending of this book. All of this made this book an easy and fast read and I will gladly give it 5 Stars.

    A great read!

Thank-you to Netgalley and Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to read and advanced copy of Only Daughter in exchange for an honest review. Short synopsis: In one moment, Kat Cavanaugh’s perfect world is shattered into tiny fragments. The flash of her daughter’s yellow dress, the blonde hair hanging across her precious face. Her own heart broken. Kat experiences every mother’s worst nightmare when her only child’s body is found lifeless in an overgrown abandoned quarry. My thought’s: After her daughters death is ruled a suicide, Kat can’t help but feel that there is no way that her daughter would take her own life. Grace seems to have it all. She comes from a wealthy family, attends a prestigious school where she is popular with her classmates and even plays violin in the school band. So why would she want to kill herself? Not being able to come to terms with the coroners findings, Kat decides to take matter into her own hands to seek out the truth. But by doing so, she uncovers that Grace wasn’t the perfect daughter she appeared to be and she is soon faced with the some horrifying truths that also make her relive her own dark past. This is a fast paced psychological thriller that keeps you wanting more. It hooks you right from the start and when you think you have it figured out you are faced with more twists and turns. The characters are very well written and Sarah takes the reader on the emotional journey of a mother and her desperate need to uncover the truth about what really happened to her daughter. I loved this book and highly recommend it.
