    Ride the Wind

A profound incite onto the times of tha American Indians, especially the Comanche. It holds nothing back and is at times shocking, violent and yet deeply sensitive and beautiful. I highly recommend this book. The starkness of the lives of the Indians and the infiltrating whites is revealed as the story progresses, while explanations of this conflict offer insight and emotion that tare the heart, thrill and fill you with joy. Sadly we know what history will dictate. But the journey to that point is totaly captivating as it is so beautifully written. A veritable Rolla coaster for sure.

Should be made into a film Ride the Wind

This is the second time I have read this book. It is a brilliant fictional rendering of a real historical event. This should be made into a film preferably by Mel Gibson in the original Comanche language.
