    Rapture

Totally complex with 2 stories running within the book. How they can be explained is puzzling all the way through. A really good read and one that shows how the author's talent as a writer has improved all the way through this series of books about Ari Thor and Iceland.

    Rupture

Having been captured by the beauty and isolation of Iceland on visits there (with another planned) I am drawn to any books with this setting. I did enjoy this one though I'm still trying to work out the interconnection of the two tales wthin it other than the two main characters.

One of the great crime writers.

Ranger Jonasson is not an author that I have come across before but I shall be searching for more of his work. Not only is he an excellent storyteller, he also managed to transport this reader back to Iceland, a place I visited for the first time in 2017 and really enjoyed. For me he rates amongst the great crime writers, but has the advantage of setting his stories in a country I really loved visiting, and I really enjoy revisiting in his book.

    Mysterious

An interesting search for answers of a puzzle from the past, with hints of confusingly mysterious tales and a suggestion of secrets hidden.

    A good read

I liked this book. An easy read and a page Turner. The plot is well worked and complex enough to maintain interest. The finish is believable if a little convenient.
