    Welcome to Holme, 5 stars 🌟 :

The perfect afternoon read! Welcome to Holme, when can I move in! When Jack Halliday and his ambulance partner Mimi Sawyer are called out to a pregnant woman due to give birth, Jack doesn't expect to find himself being saved by Cassandra Clarke, Cass, a local firefighter, when a river bursts its banks leaving them stranded in the village. As Jack and Cass work together to help the villagers during the disaster the tension builds and the sparks fly but can Cass overcome her past heartbreak and accept Jack and his daughter Ellie, everything she has ever wanted and can Jack overcome his abandonment issues to find their HEA! If you are looking for a enjoyable way to spend a lazy afternoon than Ms Claydon has written a wonderful representation of a close rural community where everyone knows and cares for each other with the vicarage and the Reverend Martin and his wife Sue at the centre of the community but Miss Palmer is the hidden gem of the story. The epilogue was the perfect conclusion to the story with enough to whet your appetite for Rafe and Mimi’s story and if you loved Jack and Cass's story then look out for Rescued by Dr Rafe! Fyi I received my copy from NetGalley and Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, but this does not influence my opinions as all opinions are my own.
