    Good but lacking something..

I love LOVE these books, I buy each new one the moment I can and have done for 6+ years... However, the last few have seemed to be lacking in character development, and what little there is just seems like filler. I'd like to see more growth with Peabody & McNab etc... But overall, it's just as good as I expect from Nora, even better even! Long live Eve, I hope for many more books to come!!

    Secrets in Death

Another great read by J. D. Robb although I wasn't too struck on the character that died as she really wasn't a very nice person. This book is all about blackmail, secrets and money so a very intriguing mix. The normal gang is back with a more prominent push on DeWinter (the commentary between why her and Dallas don't like each other is quite amusing). As usual the book chugs along and although not as dark or violent as some of the previous books, it is still an entertaining read.

    Great read

As usual J D Robb does not disappoint. Just the right amount of murder and mayhem with good interaction between the main characters.
