    Credible Fiction Weaver

Some people "binge watch" Netflix or other tv fare, but I faar prefer "binge reading" and there's few authors who can cause me to binge read as much as Bernard Cornwall. He is NOT a great writer a la Shakespeare or Dickens or even some of the newer writers of this era, but he IS more than capable of weaving actual history with his fictional characters and doing that "weaving" in a believable fashion. 4-5 Thumbs Up!

    Sharpes Enemy

I bought the three book collection 'Sharpe's Company, Honour & Enemy. A follow to reading the others in chronological order, i have snatched every opportunity to get some reading in and within two weeks i have been gripped in the story and finished all three books. Just about buy the next three, the story develops well, draws from the history of Sharpes life, the characters newly introduced and thoughs that are renewed friend and foe. The scenes of life depicted at that time and the effect of the wars on army and civilians are written in such way that the descriptive narative builds a imagery thats helps you connect to the story. Seeing all of the associated personalities and people of who were effectivley a travelling nation at war, moving from battle to battle with amazing decritives to help you imagine the fear, terror and adrenaline that was the life for a soldier of the time.
