    Great alternate history story

I enjoyed reading this alternate history account of Nazis ruling England (not Scotland or the most northern parts of England) and the Metropolitan Police being forced to work for the SS. After a murder which Superintendent Archer is investigating leads to further clues about a much bigger plot, we see how London might have been under Nazi rule, and how the SS and the German Army were more interested in fighting each other after having defeated the British. Worth reading if you like WW2 stories, alternate history or anything about Nazis, Police, spies, war, etc. Recently made into a TV series which mostly follows the book -- but, as usual, the book is better so read it first before you see the TV series.
