  • Entertaining

I liked this book but would classify it more as women's fiction than romance. Zoe has recently decided to get back into the dating pool. She is a chef who lives alone in a flat above the pub that she works at and has had zero luck with men. Her co-worker and friend recommends she dates her way through the zodiac using an online app. What ensues is a mad series of dates gone seriously wrong. The book is definitely funny and will having you laughing out loud many times. I think had I thought of it as more of women's fiction going in, I may have enjoyed it better. As a romance, it was super slow to build the HEA and her eventual love interest really doesn't make himself known until the last 20 percent of the book. The story is more about Zoe and her BFF finding confidence in themselves as they muddle through the dating world. It is an entertaining and quick read. I would give this one 3.5 stars rounded up to four. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for an ARC of this book. The opinions here are my own.

  • Cute dating dilemma romance😊

📱Young woman seeks compatible zodiac match thru Tinder? What could go wrong?😕! 4.5🌟stars💘 I thought the zodiac romantic compatibility part of the plot was good and out of the ordinary for the well-used app dating disasters trope. Lead character Zoe's dating misses are amusing (for the reader at least) and her promising connections are realistically hit or miss. She makes mistakes, sure, holding on way past the glow to one guy, cutting off another promising match with her impulsive comments. Yes, her mistakes are a bit annoying but maybe that's also the reason I connected with this twenty-something pub chef. She's flawed, not always at her best, but trying: JUST LIKE ME! I have not yet read author Sophie Ranald's previous novel which included Zoe and therefore had no preconceived prejudice about her vis a vis Alice and Joe's romance. I think I am glad I entered this story blind. Ultimately, this is a good, entertaining, whimsical and lite- to medium-heat romance with some excellent female bonding included for good measure. Zoe's friendship with fellow gym rat Dani is unselfish and supportive. And I loved Zoe's ginger cat Frazzle and Zoe's extreme concern for all animals as evidenced by her commitment to a vegan lifestyle and her touching care for a traumatized baby bird. She's admirably dedicated but not preachy about it. Thanks to publishers Bookouture and NetGalley for providing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

  • Thank You, Next

Thank You, Next is a lighthearted romantic story that includes some laughs. Sophie Ranald's main character, Zoe, is easy to like and the reader finds it easy to root for her success in the dating scene. Some sexual situations. I want to thank NetGalley and Bookouture for an early copy to review.

  • Thank You, Next!!

This is my first Sophie Ranald read and oh my!! What a read it is ☺️ Haven’t read such a witty, humorous rom-com in a while! Zoe, our main character is in the market to find love of her life after being hung up on her ex Joe for a long time. After some advice from her colleague Robbie, our Aquarian Zoe works her way through all zodiac signs to find her ideal zodiac match!! Author Sophie takes us through Zoe’s hilarious experiences with her different zodiac sign dates with such a humor and twist, you can’t help admiring her witty side and I swear I laughed out loud at many occasions to the point where my spouse was like ‘What’s so funny you are reading?’😄 Read this amazingly funny and witty book to find out if Zoe finds her Mr. Perfect or gives up her endless search!! Thank you @netgalley, @bookouture and @sophieranald for my copy of Thank You, Next e-ARC in exchange for my honest review

  • Website Dating! Romance or a bust?

Trying dating websites has lead Poor Zoe to cringe at opening up their pictures because of what type of photo they might have sent! She has decided that she either is truly going to die a cat lady or she has to endure a lot of toads! Her friend has told her about going an alternative way to try. Why not find out what there Zodiac sign is and see if they are compatible with your sign. Is she really going to do this and what if she passes over her Mr. Wonderful just because his sign is not compatible? I found this book to be drawn out in places, but overall the storyline was great! I liked the characters and it was actually a fun and fresh take for a book. I received an advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.
