    The ashes of London

Set in the time of the Great Fire, the historical background is crucial o the novel's interest and adds dimension to the character development. Minor figures become more than names, and events and places take on new life. It as a "good read", however it ended to abruptly a dolly partially resolved (killing off characters, really doesn't bring closure.

When is the sequel being published?

Enjoyed this read especially as we were visiting London as I read it. It is good historical mystery, which I love, but the conclusion felt predictable.

    Very good

A very well written story that moves the reader though the fire of London easily mixing the backdrop of the city with a murder mystery.

    Ashes of London

A good read. Decently paced, well written and interesting. The writer does a good job describing back grounds, etc.
