    Thanks for your feedback!

    A Magnificent literary triumph.

Nothing I could say would do this book justice. I have read 1000's of books in my life, but this might just be the most beautiful prose I have ever inhaled. The word-pictures drawn and the emotional wringing of the heart are flawless, devastating, and exquisite, all at once. I will be waiting on the edge of my seat for another masterpiece from this author. Bravo!!!

    Superb

This novel is rich with wisdom, sensitivity and brilliant writing. I could not put it down. Loved it.

Can I give this book 6 stars?

It has been quite some time since I have read anything that has moved me as profoundly as The Clay Girl. In Ari, Tucker has created a heroine who does so much more than simply come of age, and she blesses us with the joy and heartbreak of Ari's evolution in words that do, indeed, dance on the moon. Prepare to weep as much in joy as you do in sorrow, but prepare to weep!

Gorgeous novel but left me wanting

This book was, as Ari would say "spectacular"- until the end. I'd love to rate this five star, but if there was ever a novel that needed a sequel, this is it. I've always been an avid read who loves great literature. I'm not someone who looks for the fair tale at the end, but in this, I felt there were too many loose ends which left me unsatisfied. Still, it is beautifully written and unique. Worth the read, certainly.

    More than worth it

It takes a bit of getting used to following the thought process of a character with such a creative spirit from a disjointed and emotionally ruined 8 year old through adolescence and beyond, but once you absorb the rhythm and begin to grasp the references, it becomes so rewarding to be a part of her world. I only wish I had thought to take on life, as even and easy as mine has bee in comparison, in such an awe inspiring way. A lesson learned better late than never. Will read again for sure when my soul needs a reminder.
