    Thanks for your feedback!

    Diabolical indeed

Thrilling. Imaginative. A must read. I hung on every single word like a person dying of thirst would hold a rose with a single drop of dew.

    Thanks for your feedback!

Struggled in the beginning, fell in love with it.

From the beginning, I was conflicted with this book. I was expecting Lizzie to be crass and aggressive and a little intense, but those traits combined with the writing style threw me for a loop, as did a relationship between Eliza and another side character. It was a lot to take in during the first hundred pages, but I soldiered through it, and I have to say... I kind of fell in love with it! The world building and fantasy elements were a lot of fun, the story was evenly paced, focusing more on the mystery rather than straight action. I really liked the twists and turns that the story took, and the ending was quite intense with a truly wicked villain. It kept me hooked to the last page. While I am deeply uncomfortable with Todd's existence, he was the only character I disliked. I really enjoyed the characters. Griffin was a wonderful guy, Remy was a lot of fun and a fantastic flirt, but of course, the highlighting characters are Eliza and Lizzie. They truly are polar opposites and their relationship is quite complex. I enjoyed watching them bicker and then work together to solve this mystery. I truly look forward to seeing where their adventures go from there!
