  • Another Great Read from Sue Watson!

It is hard to know who to believe in this latest from Sue Watson. From a smother-mother to her bratty teenaged daughter to the best friends - another mother-daughter duo and close neighbors, to the biological abusive father or could it possibly be the step-father, possibly "Professor Perv"? What happens when your child is two hours away for the first time and cracks are appearing in your relationship. When Amy goes missing, Kat just "knows" something's wrong - but is he just being her ever overprotective self or.... Another really great read from Sue Watson!

  • Page after page of drivel.

One wonders at times how some of this stuff gets published. I gave up after a few chapters, flicking over the pages hoping the story would progress past the mother obsessing about her daugter. I doesn't deserve even one star.

  • Too slow and repetitive

I found this book bogged down in endless descriptions by the mother of how close she is to her daughter, their marvellous relationship, etc. It got repetitive and boring. The ending was a bit unbelievable. It's interesting to read other people's reviews - they either love it or agree with me. Sue Watson's other books are all much better than this one.

  • Disappointing

If you can get past the first six chapters of the mother ranting on about how close she and her daughter are, a weak story starts to develop. It gets a bit intriguing for a couple of chapters but anybody with half a clue will figure out what’s going on. There’s an interesting twist at the very end but not enough for me!
