Great conclusion to the Trust Fund duet!

Skye Warren's Evolution of Man is the stunning conclusion of The Trust Fund duet. I have been anticipating this release since the first book. And I got to say that it absolutely did not disappoint. I have never been more satisfied in reading the end of a series as much as this one did. The sheer chemistry of Harper and Christopher was totally off the charts. Although it may seem that they are totally at odds with each other, it cannot be denied that they have strong feelings for each other. And with Sutton getting in the mix, there's bound to be a lot of tension and more complications. I commend how Skye Warren conveyed Harper's anxiety of losing her mom to a terminal illness. It was so heartwrenchly devastating to see how she went to the five stages of grief of losing her loved one. What I love about Skye Warren's world is how the lives of her previous characters are interconnected with each other. It was really a treat to see glimpses of Avery, Gabriel, Damon, and Blue getting on with their lives. It made the Tanglewood neighborhood as real as the characters that are in it. I can't wait to read more about Skye Warren's characters from Tanglewood.

    What a Finale

I had been waiting so patiently for this book.  The fantastic ending to the Survival of the Richest Series. The Evolution of Man is the continuing story of Harper, Christopher and Sutton.  What made this story really grab me was the grittiness, the down and dirty, the hurt and loss.  It made my heart bleed. I could feel the emotional turmoil of the artist in Harper.  I could feel the heartbreak in Sutton.  I could feel the vulnerability that Christopher kept hidden so well. The library was such a good metaphor for this story.  The beauty, the destruction and the truth of being able to fix what was broken. This story was deep, you have to savor the words like a fine wine.  Ms. Warren really grabs you by the soul in this story.  She drags you through her words and makes you feel, which is a true testament to a fine story teller. The final chapter was beautiful.  It was rich in imagery and a beautiful end to such a tragic tale. This story and the other stories in this series were phenomenal! I cannot wait to see what Ms. Warren comes out with next! (You may get something sooner, rather than later...that's the only spoilerish thing you will get from me!!)

    Confusing

I find it so sad that this book was so confusing. It was always Christopher and I'm sure there were other ways that they could have complicated their story other than the horrible way it was depicted.

    Addictive

I was riveted to these books and was very anti social while reading them. The best read I have had for a long time.

    Emotionally wrenching

Can you feel desperation through the pages of a book? Can you wallow in confusion along with the characters, even up to the last moment? Can fear, pain, joy, and pleasure course through your system, all at the same time. Each as powerful as the other, until you are left bereft and smiling? You can, and you will, when you read this book. I was completely immersed in the world, in the story, and couldn't pull myself away This is the second story in the duet, and it takes place 6 months after our first story ended. Nothing is solved, nothing is clear, and everything is falling apart. It comes and goes in waves, the emotions of the characters are stark and will reach to you. The pain, it will weigh heavy on you, but somehow, with lightning flash power and precision, it comes together at the very end. The happily ever after is as tarnished and damaged as our characters, but it is what they want, and what they need, and that made the journey all the more meaningful
