    The Fourth Sacrifice

Another strong tale, with again great central characters and the story of Li Yan and Margarets relationship getting even more confusing than before, but adding depth despite that. Better if read in sequence, as Peter does not bore us by constantly retelling the events of the first book as some authors tend to, but despite that this would still stand on its own. Highly recommended read, and I'm on to no3 straight away!

    Great follow up?

I didn't know where Peter May was going to go with this book, as the first one ended so neatly. So glad he continued to continue with the China series, and That I'd decided to read this book. If you read the first one and liked it, you're like this one too.

    Thanks for your feedback!

High quality as expected from Peter May.

Loved this story. Whodunnit is not revealed until the end. I like this author's style. It's good writing, including descriptions, but not lazy or poor in vocabulary. There is a lot of historical information to be learned about the Terracotta Warriors and China's past throughout the story. It is fast moving and hard to put down.
