    Stupendous! Twist, Turns, Heartwrenching

Read this book if you like twist,, turns, heart wrenching thriller mystery! This was a first time author for me and I immediately went to her website and signed up for her news letters. One sitting read, I had to find out. Two stories are they connected? The killer was a surprise, I love when I cannot guess the end. FBI agent Nikki lost her parents to murder when she was a teenager, the killer is in jail. She goes back home is because of a lead on the "Frost" killer. The two teenage bodies were not killed by Frost but she intends to find the killer. She is tough, she is soft, she is a mother and I could feel her pain, bask in her intelligence and sigh when she found comfort. I am thrilled this is book 1 and I definitely cannot wait for book 2. Many many thanks to Stacy Green for writing this book, the publisher Bookouture and to NetGalley. What a ride! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.

Awesome, love the darkness of it.

This book was amazing!! The storyline was soo good it flowed great and wasn't predictable at all. Like my guess's for the killer were everywhere. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. I just needed to find out what happens next. I really like the setting of the dark small town. Nikki is one hot mess I don't blame her but she's also one strong lady. Perfect female lead. I love the relationship between her and Rory. I'm happy she did what was right in the end. Everything worked in this book. The author did an awesome job. Il totally be looking at more books from her and I really hope there's a second book to this one. I recommend this book to people that like the CSI/Criminal mind type things. I like to say thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me a chance to read and review this book and especially to Stacy Green.

    Fantastic new series!

What an exciting police procedural! The setting was absolute mint. I loved the snowy Stillwater landscape and felt the biting chill in the air. The hook really drew me in. Two girls found dead in the snow. Was it the serial killer and what does this have to do with Special Agent Nikki Hunt’s teen-hood trauma? The stillwater setting had that claustrophobic small town feel and poor Nikki, I felt for her on many occasions. The presentation of suspects and the trail of clues were set out perfectly and in a skilful way with just enough misdirection. The forensic references were brilliantly researched and written. I loved the justice theme too and also that sense of having to face your past to move on with your future. This was a super fast read. I just had to know who murdered those girls and what happened to Nikki. A fabulous and snappy read that I’m sure will be an absolute hit. A bang of a start for this new FBI agent and series!

A brilliant start to a new series

The Girls in the Snow is the first book in the Nikki Hunt series and is one sensational read! Wow, this one just completely blew me away and I am so glad that we will have more books in the series to look forward too. If you are looking for a brand new series to sink your teeth into, then look no further, The Girls in the Snow is a must read! There was no way that I was going to pass up the chance to read this book and with it’s chilling cover, just sets up the tone of book perfectly. This chilliness continues within the pages and even though it is Spring here in Australia, I found myself having to rug up as Stacy took me on a very vivid journey, making me experience the cold and snowy weather as her characters do. It is very atmospheric and enhances the story all the more. The story held my interest and has been very well researched and plotted. Stacy Green is a great storyteller and knows how to get her readers attention and keep it. She injects just the right amount of tension and suspense throughout, all the while keeping it moving at a fast pace, culminating in a very satisfying conclusion. Nikki Hunt is such a great character and as a FBI profiler, brings a freshness to the story as opposed to the norm, which sees the lead as always a detective or a detective chief inspector. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy these characters, but mixing it up to gain a different perspective and different skill set, is always a nice change. Stacy Green is a new author to me and one that I am very glad that has found her way onto my Kindle. Her easy style made for a smooth read and she has delivered on everything with this story and I can’t wait to see where the series heads to next. It was a pleasure to read and review The Girls in the Snow, which I highly recommend.

Can she stop the killer in her hometown?!

😲Wow! The sins of the past come back to roost in rural Minnesota🎑 Really well done👍 I thoroughly enjoyed this entire, fast-paced whodunit. Author Stacy Green kept the suspense high, the outcome in question right through to the end and even threw a touch of romance in to the mix. I can't cite one example of an element in the story I did not like. Female lead FBI profiler Nikki Hunt, in a great twist and complication to the plot, is both a victim through the brutal slaughter of her parents twenty years past and the hero who leads a team of her FBI colleagues and local police to right old wrongs and solve the newly-discovered gruesome murder of two young teenagers from her small hometown. This is a heroine I want to see more of. Thanks to publishers Bookouture and NetGalley for providing an advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
