    The Grand Design

A coherent description of cosmology as it is now - not as it was 10 years ago and probably not as will be in 10 years time.

    Is this how it works?

If, as a child you enjoyed taking your toys to pieces to see how they worked, then this book is for you. This takes the universe to bits, then shows how it's put back together. No, I didn't understand all of it, but I will next time!! Fascinating reading if you have even a slight interest in science, and wonder "where did all this come from?"

    But why 42...

Superb, brief deconstruction of life, the universe and everything. You will not regret picking up this book if you enjoyed A Brief History of Time. Humorous and thought provoking.
