  • Falling in love with a small town.

Nell has had a really rough year, with the break-up of her boyfriend and the death of her best friend, Megan. Megan leaves behind a letter for Nell to go to Tansy Falls in Vermont and spread her ashes on the mountain. This was her favorite place and where she came alive when she was younger, and she wanted Nell to feel what she once did. Megan listed a two-week itinerary of whom she should see and what she should do. This takes her on an adventure where she comes alive too. The people she meets are so welcoming, well most, but once they got to know her, they too, welcomed her. As I was reading, I felt like there is a mystery here to solve, and Nell felt the same way. She couldn't stop herself and decided she had to figure out what was going on because she had fallen in love with the people and the town. As her two weeks came to an end she had figured things out, but would she be able to leave and go back to her home in London? You will need to read the book, and you too will fall in love with the people and the town. I received an ARC from Bookouture through NetGalley.

  • an absolutely gorgeous book that will whisk you o

BLOG TOUR REVIEW Review for 'The Inn At Tansy Falls' by Cate Woods. Read and reviewed via NetGalley for Cate Woods, Bookouture publishers and Bookouture anonymous. Publication date 12th May 2021. This is the first book I have read by this author. It is the first book in a three part series. I was originally drawn to this book by its beautiful eye catching cover and its intriguing synopsis. It also stated in the synopsis 'If you love feel-good love stories by ReaAnne Thayne, Debbie Macomber and Robyn Carr, you’ll adore this gorgeous, heart-warming novel about starting over'. I am a huge fan of Debbie Macomber and Robyn Carr so am looking forward to see if it lives up to this. I must admit I was also biased due to the publisher being Bookouture. I have yet to read a book published by Bookouture that I haven't enjoyed. Hopefully this won't be the first... Watch this space! (Written before I started reading the book). This novel consists of 34 chapters. The chapters are medium in length so possible to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case! This book is based in Vermont, USA 🇺🇸. This book is written in third person perspective with the main protagonist being Nell Swift. The benefits of third person perspective especially with are that it let's you see the bigger picture of what's going on and you get to know more characters more, what they are thinking and what they are doing. It feels like you get to see the whole picture and not miss out in anything. It is set over multiple time lines. When books show what has happened in the past and what is happening in the present I find it really helps the reader (if it is well done) understand why things are happening and what has lead to the present activities and decisions. It also shows the bigger picture. Wow!! What an absolutely gorgeous book and I was completely over the moon when I came to the end of the book and realised that this is actually the first book in a three part series. I absolutely LOVED reading this and was devastated when my journey at Tansy falls same to an end. This book is beautifully written with vivid descriptions and stunning surroundings I was absolutely captivated throughout. The cover and the synopsis work perfectly with the storyline. The storyline is absolutely gorgeous. If you enjoyed reading 'P.S I Love you' then you will LOVE reading this!!! Instead of the husband leaving an itinerary it's the best friend Megan and she sends Nell on the most beautiful adventure. The storyline is realistic and down to earth and the setting is picturesque. I was absolutely sucked in from the first to the last page of this heartwarming and soul lifting page turner. On several occasions I had to reach for the tissues so make sure you have a supply to hand before you start reading this and clear your time table as you are going on a beautiful journey. I genuinely felt like I was on holidays in Tansy Falls and I was devastated when I realised I had to pack my bags and leave at the end. However, all is not last and I cannot wait for the next book in what promises to be a page turning series. I fell in love with not just Tansy Falls but all the amazing people in there. It was such a friendly village where everyone knew everyone else and you would never feel alone. I loved how Nell's character and personality developed throughout the story and I bonded with her immediately. Her friendship and closeness to Megan is beautiful and a story that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. Nell went from a girl who was petrified to get on a plane to a strong woman changing her life. Jackson is an absolute hunk and I cannot wait to see where things go!! I LOVED Darlene who was such a vivid and larger than life character who I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of!!! Liza and Brody are just absolute slime bags and I'm sure we will be reading more of them soon. Cate congratulations on an absolutely stunning novel and welcome to my top author list. Your book is a page turning heartwarming and soul lofting success and Cecilia Ahern has definitely got some competition!!! I would love to see this turned into a movie and I hope your busy writing book 2 as I for one cannot wait!!! Overall an absolutely gorgeous book that will whisk you off to Tansy Falls and lift your heart and spirit. A page turning, addictive compelling novel that will leave you wanting more. Genres covered in this book include Romance Novel, Contemporary Fiction and Domestic Fiction amongst others. I would recommend this book to the fans of the above as well as fans of ReaAnne Thayne, Debbie Macomber, Robyn Carr, Cecilia Ahern and anyone needing a gorgeous break away. 272 pages. This book is just 99p to purchase on kindle via Amazon which I think is an absolute bargain for this book!!! Rated 5/5 (I LOVED it ) on Goodreads, Instagram, Amazon UK and Amazon US and on over 30 Facebook pages plus my blog on Facebook.

  • I recommend it.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of THE INN AT TANSY FALLS by Cate Woods in exchange for an honest review. Nell Swift has been slowly losing herself for years. Now, Nell has lost her best friend, Megan, to cancer. Megan, however, had a plan. Nell has to honor her friend’s last request. As a result, Nell boards a plane for the United States for a trip to Tansy Falls, Vermont, where she will follow the itinerary set for her by Megan. As Megan posthumously introduces Nell to her hometown, Nell finds more than just strangers in a strange land. I liked this book and recommend it to fans of women’s fiction. This seems to be first in a possible series of connected books. #TheInnatTansyFalls #NetGalley

  • Beautifully told

What a beautiful, emotional story. Nell is sent on a mission to Tansy Falls, Vermont by her deceased best friend, Megan. While in Tansy Falls, she meets some important people that Megan knew and some new ones that become important to her, as well. If you enjoy a good story with wonderful characters and love a happily ever after, I recommend you reading this story. I must say Nell got the perfect man for her. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and Bookouture and this is my voluntary and honest review.

  • Hauntingly Beautiful Series Starter

This is a wonderful book of Women's Fiction. I hated to see it end and then saw that it is the first in a series and got all excited. All of the characters in the book are people I want to know better. The small mountain town in Vermont is so like the small mountain towns of my experience: filled with characters and having character. The plot is wonderful and could not have been done any better. It has more smiles than tears, but the sadness is profound. I cannot wait to read more in this series! I received this ARC book for free from Net Galley and this is my honest review.
